Its new imagery, updated content and new innovations have earned the site lots of very positive feedback. We believe the new site offers our stakeholders added value in a number areas; value that will continue to grow with the upcoming addition of self-editable listings and monthly traffic stats reports (available on premium listings only), on-site itinerary planning and a new inter-active ‘Share your Rotorua Experience’ area. The past 12 months have also seen the launch of new three new stand-alone foreign language sites, Japanese, Korean and Spanish, to complement our Chinese language website. DRTM has received a number of commendations from TNZ staff and overseas agents on the value of having these sites in their markets. Foreign language website listingOperators who have a premium listing on the main site, can purchase a translated listing any of our five stand-alone foreign language websites at a significantly discounted rate. N.B. The full web listing rate of $338 plus GST plus translation costs will apply to all other advertisers.
An approximate guide to translation costs is $45 plus GST per 100 words. Banner advertisingOperators who wish to highlight their online profile for specific seasonal promotions, offers or events now have the opportunity to purchase banner advertising within the various sections and categories on site. E.g. hotel accommodation, motel accommodation, MTB, walking, adventure, fishing, hangi and concert, C & I etc. Accepted on a month-by-month basis, only two banner spots will be available in any one category; either a featured landscape advert (160 x 350 pixels) from $50-$75* plus GST per month or a portrait sidebar advert (350 x 160 pixels) from $40-$65* plus GST per month. As a special introductory, we are offering two months banner advertising for the price of one month on a first in, first served basis*Final price is based on traffic rating within chosen category.
