The Secret Spot is a magical new hot tub experience, set in a beautifully landscaped, native oasis. 12 hand crafted, 6-seater, cedar hot tubs, dot the edge of the Whakarewarewa Forest.
Each filled with pure spring water from our secret source, then heated to a perfectly relaxing 39.5 degrees. We're also home to Shinny Dips, mini hot tubs for your feet, complimentary, when you purchase a drink. And whilst soaking, we'll serve you delicious, local beverages, direct to your hot tub. Absolute bliss!

Opening hours: 9am to 10pm. 7 days a week. Closed Christmas Day.
12 hot tubs and 8 “Shinny Dips”.
Three hot tubs are available every 15 minutes.
Hot tubs are booked for 45 minute time slots.
Bathers are asked to arrive 15 minutes before booking time to check in, order drinks and change.
Six people maximum per hot tub.
Inclusion: Hot tub and free lockers.
No minimum numbers.
Health/medical limitations: conditions which heat may affect the client. Possibly bad hips for climbing into a hot tub.
Children: none under 5 years old, child rates 5yrs to 14yrs old apply, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Free unlimited parking up to 11pm.

Refunds and cancelations.
Bookings can be rescheduled up to 4 hours before your reservation, but cancelations require 12 hours’ notice to receive a full refund.
