The Arts Village

The Arts Village is home to many workshops, events, exhibitions, art and craft markets, residencies and more throughout the year. 
 
Housed in a purpose-built facility on the corner of Hinemoa and Hinemaru streets, The Arts Village comprises a complex of studios, meeting rooms, offices and a kitchen, providing facilities for art groups to meet, a variety of art classes to be held, plus events, speakers’ forums, a hand-made art and craft market, small conferences and more.
 
Two exhibition spaces provide the opportunity for artists to showcase their work, while the spacious grounds play host to a range of arts-related festivals and events throughout the year.
