Cruise and Fish Rotorua offers fishing charter packages for rainbow and brown trout on three of Rotorua's lakes: Rotorua, Rotoiti and Tarawera. Join the team onboard ‘Hamills Killer’, named after one of NZ’s famous trout fishing flies developed for the Rotorua region by Bill Hamill from his store in Fenton Street and celebrating 70 years (since 1955) of service to the fishing and hunting enthusiasts.
Cruise or fish the scenic waters of the Rotorua lakes and fish for the famous trout of the region. There are thermal springs to soak in, native bush to the shoreline and crystal clear waters to temp your senses. We recommend three hours minimum with four- and eight-hour options to suit your time available. The boat is surveyed and meets MaritimeNZ requirements for safety and is suitable for six persons and allows for four fishing. Lake Rotorua is our winter time go to as three of our lakes close for boat fishing.

Health and safety is also paramount and is covered by the association’s audited health and safety plan that meets the latest Work Safe NZ HSW standards.
