Guy Roe Reserve
A popular location for fishing, picnics and boat activities.
The reserve area known as Homestead Arm at Guy Roe Reserve, Lake Rerewhakaaitu, is a popular location for fishing, picnics and boat access onto the lake.
Facilities include children's playground, barbecues, picnic tables, toilet facilities, jetty and boat ramp. Dogs are permitted and must be kept on lead.
A Department of Conservation (DOC) managed camping area is permitted on part of the reserve, further around the lake. An honesty box is provided for payment.
Fires are not permitted.
Remember to take care of the environment, and to dispose of all rubbish responsibly.
The walkway and the bush area are administered by the Department of Conservation (DOC).

Yes, dogs on leads are permitted. Please dispose of dog waste responsibly.
